WHAT IS THE WORLD KOBUDO FEDERATION?The WKF is a non-political martial arts organization available to all disciplines and styles, for large and small dojos. Its primary purpose is to unite martial artists under one umbrella to raise the standards, quality and brotherhood for the overall advancement of Budo.WHY WAS THE WORLD KOBUDO FEDERATION FOUNDED?For many years, rivalry between different martial arts federations and styles has led to the fragmentation of martial arts. The individual biases of teachers and numerous leaders have hindered the growth and reconciliation of various disciplines that have always been considered in competition with one another. Taking into consideration the many incompatibilities between philosophies and disciplines, the World Kobudo Federation was created in a spirit of innovation and respect for traditions. |
